Report: RB Alfred Morris visits with Jets after Elijah McGuire injury
The New York Jets are in the market for another running back and hosted Alfred Morris for a visit, according to a report.
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported on Saturday that running back Elijah McGuire suffered a fracture in his foot and will miss extended time.
#Jets RB Elijah McGuire, who figured to have a key role in the backfield, has suffered a fracture in his foot, source said. He’s going to require surgery and will miss an extended period. Depending on how long, he could be a candidate to return off Injured Reserve.

McGuire was expected to be the team’s third-down back, which has created a void. On Saturday, Morris met with the Jets for a visit.
Free agent RB Alfred Morris has just walked into the #Jets building for a visit, source said. With the #Cowboys last year, Morris averaged 4.8 yards per rush. A possible intriguing option.
