Did Aqib Talib get away with a severe holding on Rob Gronkowski in the AFC Championship Game? Don’t bother asking him, because he doesn’t want to talk about it.
During Super Bowl Opening Night Monday at the SAP Center in San Jose, Larry Brown Sports approached Talib and tried to ask him about the critical fourth down play that helped the Broncos against the Patriots late in the game. Tom Brady threw into the end zone for Gronk and the pass went incomplete as Gronk was in triple coverage. Video seemed to show Talib got away with a hold.
When I tried to ask him about it, we made eye contact, but as soon as he heard what my question was about, he looked another direction:
I think that’s Talib’s way of saying he knows he got away with one.
