Broncos RB CJ Anderson ‘excited’ to have Jamaal Charles as teammate
If CJ Anderson is worried about losing carries to Jamaal Charles, he sure isn’t showing it.
After news emerged on Tuesday that the Broncos were signing Charles, Anderson sent the following tweet welcoming his fellow running back to the team:
Welcome to the room @jcharles25

Charles spoke with some Denver reporters and reciprocated with positive thoughts about Anderson:
Jamaal Charles: "I love @cjandersonb22 game. He's strong, explosive and fast… I just want to help this team.

Anderson saw that quote from Charles and responded, saying he was “excited” to play with his “big brother.”
His game is super amazing excited to have my big brother join us pushing each other every day to be great https://t.co/8WzAmi9NNB

Anderson is already used to splitting time with different backs in Denver, so that’s probably why he doesn’t seem at all threatened. Plus maybe he sees a veteran stud like Charles and figures he can learn a lot from someone who has had as much success as the former Chiefs back has enjoyed.
