Report: Browns remain in talks with Dez Bryant
Dez Bryant’s visit with the Cleveland Browns last week may not have resulted in a signed contract, but that does not necessarily mean he will not end up joining the team.
NFL Media’s Mike Silver reported on Thursday that the Browns still have interest and remain in talks with him.
Earlier on @nflnetwork I reported that the @Browns still have interest in @DezBryant and that talks are ongoing. The Browns believe he has not fallen off as a player and want to add as many weapons as possible. The return of Josh Gordon has no impact on their interest in Dez.

Bryant has remained a free agent ever since the Dallas Cowboys released him in April. He has suggested on Twitter that going unsigned for a long period of time was his choice.
The two suggestions for why Bryant and the Browns did not immediately reach a deal are that Cleveland was focusing on the return of Josh Gordon, while Bryant may prefer to play for more of a contender. But the issue is whether contenders are interested in Bryant, because one top AFC team is not.
The 29-year-old had 69 catches for 838 yards and six touchdowns last season.
