Dez Bryant interested in Browns but not ready to play yet
Dez Bryant says that he is interested in playing for the Cleveland Browns, but he is not ready to play yet.
Browns GM John Dorsey told reporters on Thursday that he has interest in Bryant but the receiver is not returning his phone calls.
#Browns Dorsey says he’d have Dez Bryant in next week “if he returns a phone call. He won’t return any phone calls”..other receivers coming in next week

Some took that to mean that Bryant is not interested in playing for Cleveland. According to Bryant, that’s not the issue. He said on Twitter he “wouldn’t mind playing for the Browns. I just want to be right first.”

Bryant said to another Twitter user that he is not ready to play yet.
“I’m going to play…just whenever I get ready… I’m not on anybody time…I’m still getting myself ready.”
The preseason has already begun in the NFL and training camps are in full swing, so the longer Bryant waits, the less ready he’ll be for Week 1. He probably should jump on an opportunity before it’s too late. A previous report had said the two sides discussed a one-year deal.
