The Nathan Peterman era in Buffalo has finally ended.
The Bills announced on Monday night that they have cut Peterman.

Peterman was a 5th-round pick by the team in last year’s draft. He was 24/49 for 252 yards, 2 touchdowns and 5 interceptions in limited action last season, which included a five-interception start against the Chargers.
He was no better this season, going 44/81 for 296 yards, 1 touchdown and 7 interceptions in four appearances.
Few quarterbacks in NFL history gave their teams less of a chance to win a game than Peterman, yet the Bills kept sticking with him and giving him opportunities despite how clearly ineffective he was. It was mind-boggling.
Seeing Matt Barkley join the team as a free agent and lead the Bills to victory with 232 yards and 2 touchdowns less than two weeks after signing must have convinced the team to finally get rid of Peterman. Barkley will probably be the backup to Josh Allen, with Derek Anderson as the third-stringer.
