There have been many NFL quarterbacks through the years who could have gone pro playing baseball, but we can say with certainty that Caleb Williams is not one of them.
Williams earlier this week was invited to practice some hitting with the Chicago Cubs. Those who watched the video felt that Williams did not look like much of a star athlete.

Fortunately, the Chicago Bears are not going to ask their No. 1 overall pick to hit a baseball. The batting cage session was merely a reminder of how humbling baseball can be, even for some of the best athletes in the world.
Williams is not the only NFL quarterback who looks like he has never played baseball a day in his life, of course.
