Chad Ochocinco Compares Being at the Super Bowl to Watching Porn
As we mentioned earlier, there have been very few quotable moments over the past week-and-a-half as we await the arrival of the Super Bowl. Tuesday’s media day was highlighted by a jovial Bill Belichick and one of his receivers saying he thinks Bill is happy because of his girlfriend. Believe it or not, that receiver was not Chad Ochocinco. In fact, many members of the media were disappointed with Chad’s serious demeanor on Tuesday. As Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times shared with us on Twitter, Ocho redeemed himself at Wednesday morning’s media session.
There we go. That sounds more like the Chad we all know. For a guy who typically does whatever is necessary to keep the spotlight on himself, we have to commend Ochocinco for not becoming a distraction in New England this year. Things obviously didn’t play out the way he had hoped, but Ocho has said nothing but good things about his experience. Granted, he knows Belichick would cut him at the first sign of any of that nonsense, but he has still bought into the concept of a team. That’s something Ochocinco has rarely — if ever — done during his career.
