Chandler Jones goes viral for his tribute song to Bill Belichick
The New England Patriots and legendary head coach Bill Belichick parted ways this week after 24 long season, and that has Chandler Jones emotional.
Jones, who was selected by Belichick out of Syracuse at No. 21 overall in the 2012 NFL Draft, was so emotional after his former coach’s departure that he decided to write a song about it. If that’s what you want to call it.

We’ll give Jones an “A” for effort, but he shouldn’t switch to a music career.
Although Jones’ debut single probably isn’t something you’re going to bump when you roll through the hood, the “Tennessee Whiskey” parody did have a few amusing lines.
“Bill Belichick, oh how I miss you,” Jones sang. “I just wanna kiss you. They just got rid of you.”
Jones also referenced two infamous scandals involving the Patriots — Deflategate and Spygate — blaming them on parties other than Belichick. Most notably, he pinned Deflategate on Tom Brady in tongue-in-cheek fashion.
Jones, whose NFL career likely came to an end after being released by the Las Vegas Raiders following a September arrest, credits Belichick for making him the man he’s become.
We’re not entirely sure Belichick wants to take credit for that.
