Chandler Jones is no longer on an NFL team, but he continues to display questionable behavior.

The free agent defensive end shared a video on his Instagram account of him getting tattooed. He showed the final result, which was him getting the word “Messiah” tattooed on his head. You can see the final result if you click the arrow to the second photo in the Instagram post.

Jones was cut by the Raiders on Sept. 30, a day after his second arrest in under three weeks for violating a temporary protective order.

Jones had issues with the Raiders over the offseason. He unloaded on the team in a strange Instagram tirade before the season. He claimed the Raiders had locked him out of the team facility and were trying to “provoke” him. Jones had also claimed that he was taken to a mental health facility against his will. He shared some hand-written letters he had written from the facility.

Jones has not played this season. The 33-year-old had 38 total tackles, 4.5 sacks and 3 fumble recoveries in 15 games with the Raiders last season. He has made four Pro Bowls during his career — one with the Patriots in 2015 and three with the Cardinals (2017, 2019, 2021).
