A well-known Kansas City Chiefs superfan has received another prison sentence for an armed robbery in Oklahoma.
Xavier Babudar, who was known online as “Chiefsaholic,” was sentenced to 32 years in state prison Monday for an armed bank robbery in Tulsa, Okla., according to KSHB in Kansas City. Babudar has admitted to 11 bank robberies across eight states, but was ultimately arrested in December 2022 for robbing a Tulsa Teachers Credit Union in the suburb of Bixby.
Babudar was accused of pointing a gun at a bank teller until he was given money from the vault. He was found guilty on one count of robbery with a firearm, one count of assault while masked or disguised, and one count of removing an electronic monitoring device.
This latest prison sentence comes on top of a 17.5-year federal sentence he received in 2024 for the string of robberies in other states. His federal sentence and state sentence will run concurrently, meaning he will be transferred to Oklahoma to serve the remaining 14.5 years of his sentence there once he is released from federal prison.
Prior to his arrest, Babudar had gained a gained a large following on social media for his Chiefs fandom. He also attended many of the team’s home games while dressed as a wolf, but that obviously came to an end two years ago after he went on the run from authorities.
