The Dallas Cowboys went against the grain and hired Christian Parker as the new defensive coordinator.
Parker has already brought on a few new coaches to add to his staff, and now the Cowboys are expected to hire Georgia Bulldogs assistant coach Chidera Uzo-Diribe, according to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports.

Shortly after Parker was hired, several assistants who were brought on by former DC Matt Eberflus were let go as the new Cowboys DC overhauls the staff.
Uzo-Diribe is a former Colorado Buffaloes defensive lineman who spent a brief time in the NFL as a player with the New Orleans Saints.
Uzo-Diribe was a graduate assistant at Colorado for three seasons before making stops at Kansas, SMU and TCU.
Kirby Smart hired Uzo-Diribe in 2022 as the outside linebackers coach, and he has been in Athens ever since and is known as a pass rush specialist.
The Cowboys have already hired Marcus Dixon (DL), Derrick Ansley (passing game coordinator) and Ryan Smith (cornerbacks), and now Uzo-Diribe is heading to Dallas as he makes the jump to the NFL for the first time in his coaching career.
