
Danny Amendola was penalized during Saturday’s playoff game against the Chiefs after nailing Kansas City special teams player Jamell Fleming on a punt.
Kansas City was punting to New England in the second quarter. Rather than attempt a fair catch or return, Amendola decided to let the punt go. He also decided that he would try to hit a Chiefs player while he was at it.
Unfortunately Amendola went after Fleming high and led with his helmet:

Amendola got a personal foul penalty for unnecessary roughness on the play. A mini-skirmish broke out too, which also saw Amendola push Anthony Sherman in the face.
