Darren McFadden activated by Cowboys
The NFL’s second ranked rushing offense is about to get even better.
Behind sensational rookie Ezekiel Elliott, the Cowboys trail only the Bills in rushing yards per game (152.2) this season. They also have veteran Alfred Morris, who has three 1,000-yard seasons to his credit. Now, Dallas will have last year’s team leader in rushing at their disposal as Darren McFadden has been moved to the active roster.

McFadden rushed for 1,089 yards and three touchdowns last season, the first time he had surpassed 1,000 yards since 2010. However, an injury over Memorial Day weekend that reportedly stemmed from trying to prevent his iPhone from hitting the ground has delayed his start to this season. He later provided clarity on what happened. You can see his explanation here.
With a healthy Elliott, Morris, and McFadden, Dallas will have three more than capable running backs to rotate behind the best offensive line in the league. That’s good news for Dallas and bad news for everyone else.
