On Wednesday, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers became the NFL’s highest-paid player. It did not take long for one of his teammates to demand a little payback.
Packers wide receiver Davante Adams had a muted reaction to news of Rodgers’s contract extension — namely, the extremely wealthy quarterback still hasn’t paid back a two-year-old debt.

Rodgers is probably good for it at this point. Just guessing, though.
Rodgers might argue that the 22 touchdown receptions Adams has racked up over the past two seasons are repayment enough. Plus, Adams is doing pretty well for himself on his own. Though that doesn’t change the fact that Rodgers owes him 20 bucks. Pay up, Aaron.
