Demaryius Thomas has funny response to trade rumors
Demaryius Thomas offered a humorous response the trade rumors surrounding him.
Reports over the past week have said the Denver Broncos are listening to trade offers for Thomas, who is under contract through 2019.
Thomas has been with the Broncos since 2010 and is second in franchise history in career receptions and receiving touchdowns, behind Rod Smith. He joked that the Broncos are talking about dealing him so he won’t break the records.

On a more serious note, Thomas said the trade rumors have bothered him.

Thomas won’t have to deal with the rumors for much longer. He’ll know when the trade deadline passes Tuesday afternoon whether his future remains with the Broncos or another team. The Patriots are one of the teams to reportedly discuss a trade for him.
