Reporters looking for in-depth information on the status of Derek Carr’s finger came away disappointed on Wednesday.
Carr was asked three times about the status of his injured pinkie, according to ESPN’s Paul Gutierrez. Each time, he gave the exact same answer: “It’s great. Thanks for asking.”
On to Buffalo, then?
Carr kept his hand in his hoodie during the entire media availability. His finger was still bandaged and he still required a glove during practice.
Carr suffered the nasty injury on this play Sunday. He returned to the game, so it doesn’t sound like his status for Sunday is in huge doubt.
