A former Pro Bowl wide receiver is searching for what would be his fourth different team in less than three months.
The Houston Texans announced on Tuesday that they have waived Diontae Johnson.
Johnson spent just three weeks in Houston. The Texans claimed him off waivers after he was cut following a very brief tenure with the Baltimore Ravens.

Johnson had just three total catches with the Texans — two during the regular season and one in Saturday’s 32-12 AFC Wild Card win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
The 28-year-old Johnson began the season with the Carolina Panthers, who acquired him in a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers in March. The Panthers then traded Johnson and a sixth-round draft pick to the Ravens in October for a fifth-round pick.
Johnson caught just one pass in four games with the Ravens before quickly wearing out his welcome. He was suspended for disciplinary reasons and then later cut.
Johnson was a productive player for five seasons in Pittsburgh. He caught 107 passes for 1,161 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2021, which is when he made the Pro Bowl. He now comes with a lot of baggage, however, which could make teams hesitant to show interest in him.
