Eagles’ Jordan Davis gets jiggy with it to avoid bee sting
Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jordan Davis is the bee’s knees, baby.
With unseasonably warm temperatures in the northeast, bees and other insects have been out in abundance. The Eagles learned that firsthand during practice this week as wasps and yellowjackets buzzed around their heads.
One rogue bee took it upon himself to land on the back of Davis, who was alerted by his teammates and proceeded to embody his inner Heather DeLoach (this is a deep cut reference, folks) in order to shake it off.
Milton Williams: “There’s a bee on your back.”

After the initial shake failed to do the trick, Davis broke out the ole stanky leg and that yielded more optimal results.
“All right, fellas. That’s a job well done today,” Davis joked as his teammates attempted to avoid other bees.
And how about those moves for the 6-foot-6, 326-pound big man? Dexter Lawrence, eat your heart out.
Davis, a first-round pick of the Eagles in the 2022 NFL Draft, has just 10 tackles and one sack in seven games this season but something tells us he’s in line for a big game on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Maybe he’ll even break out some of these dance moves if he manages to bring down quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
