Chip Kelly has one of the greatest offensive minds in the NFL. His high-speed, no-huddle offense featuring fast playcalling and visual cue cards keeps defenses tired and guessing. Thanks to ESPN, Kelly might have to put in a little extra work this week leading up to his team’s Week 3 game against the Washington Redskins.
ESPN showed the Philadelphia Eagles’ play chart on live television during the Monday Night Football broadcast. The entertaining names Philly has for plays seem to correspond with the cards they hold up from the sidelines. While we all enjoy laughing at plays like “Rock 12 Blow,” you have to wonder if ESPN gave any secretive info away.
In any event, I’m sure it won’t be a problem. Kelly never seems to run out of ideas on offense. He’ll probably have an entire new list of plays against Washington.
