Earl Thomas is intent on either getting a raise or parting ways with the Seattle Seahawks this offseason, and he is reportedly prepared to go to great lengths to get what he wants.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Thomas is prepared to sit out the remainder of training camp and potentially regular season games if the Seahawks don’t pay him more or trade him.
There’s also a belief around the league that, unless he gets a new deal or trade, Seahawks’ safety Earl Thomas is preparing to sit out through training camp and into the regular season.

Thomas is in the final season of a five-year deal and set to make $8.5 million this year before becoming a free agent. Given that he is 29 and has dealt with some injuries recently, he probably feels pressure to secure as much money as possible as he gets closer to the end of his career.
Thomas has expressed interest in playing for a specific NFC team, though there are no indications that the Seahawks are actively shopping him.
