Eric Decker (or the person who runs his Twitter account) had a fun idea on Wednesday. The New York Jets wide receiver, who is new to this whole losing thing, decided to ask his team’s fans to use the hashtag #jetsdiehardfan to express why they love the Jets.

Of course, not many people love the Jets right now. The team hasn’t been to the playoffs since 2010. Currently sitting at 1-7, the Jets are well on their way to their worst season since a 4-12 campaign in 2007. I’ll let their true fans take it from here:

Sure, there were a select few who had positive things to say about Gang Green, but what the hell did Decker expect? That went about as well as the time Florida State called on fans to ask Jameis Winston questions on Twitter. Fantastic idea, Eric or Eric’s PR person.
