Eric Decker will undergo season-ending surgery on shoulder
New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker’s season is over.
As Ian Rapoport of NFL Media first reported, Decker will undergo season-ending surgery on his shoulder. The team confirmed on Tuesday that Decker has been placed on injured reserve.
Expectation is that #Jets WR Eric Decker, with a torn rotator cuff, will have season-ending surgery, source said. He tried to go, couldn’t.

Unfortunately, Decker’s wife’s very flattering social media posts were not enough to keep her husband on the field. Third-year wide receiver Quincy Enunwa will continue to work as the No. 2 receiver in New York’s offense behind Brandon Marshall. After a 1-4 start, things are looking very grim for the Jets.
