There has not yet been an NFL head coach fired during the 2025 season, but several fans were calling for one defensive coordinator to lose his job in Week 5.
The Baltimore Ravens had the worst scoring defense in the NFL entering Week 5, and they showed zero signs of improvement in the first half of their game against the Houston Texans. The Ravens trailed 24-3 heading into halftime at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md. They then gave up another touchdown within the first few minutes of the third quarter.
As the Texans were ripping off chunk plays at will, fans took to social media to urge the Ravens to fire defensive coordinator Zach Orr.
I don’t care, you HAVE to fire Zach Orr after this game

Such a disgusting showing again for Baltimore.

Zach Orr needs fired at the half.
Sorry for being so blunt, but this is just unacceptable, especially against a 1-3 team.

People are wide open
The Ravens allowed 133 points through the first four weeks, which was the most in franchise history for the first four games of a season. Stats like that are only going to continue to pile up after Baltimore’s performance against the Texans on Sunday.
Orr is in his second season as the DC of the Ravens. He was the team’s inside linebackers coach before that.
Lamar Jackson missed Sunday’s game due to a hamstring injury, which put even more pressure on Baltimore’s defense. Still, the unit looked just as horrible with Jackson under center as it did with Cooper Rush leading the team on Sunday.
The Ravens have not been perfect on offense, as evidenced by the stunning trend ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky noticed earlier this week. But their defense has been historically bad, and someone is likely going to have to take the fall for that sooner rather than later.
