Gary Kubiak excited about ‘progress’ from Paxton Lynch
The Denver Broncos have decided that Trevor Siemian will start the team’s third preseason game, which is a strong indication he may be in the lead for the team’s starting quarterback job. But how do the rest of the guys stack up? Maybe Denver doesn’t know yet, but head coach Gary Kubiak likes what he’s seen from Paxton Lynch so far.
Kubiak said on Thursday that he likes the progress made by Lynch.

Lynch was drafted No. 26 overall by the Broncos out of Memphis and is new to pro football, compared to Siemian and especially Mark Sanchez, who have been in the league longer. But Lynch impressed in his second preseason game as he completed 15 of 26 passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns.
We believe — and Kubiak’s words seem to back it up — that Lynch will end up starting the majority of the games this season for the Broncos.
