Has Gisele driven a wedge between Tom Brady, Donald Trump?

Tom Brady announced at the last second on Wednesday that he would not be visiting the White House with his teammates due to a family matter, and the decision has led to speculation that all is not well between Brady and his buddy Donald Trump.

Although Brady has openly supported Trump in the past, it is well known that the star quarterback’s wife Gisele is not a fan of the president. In fact, Gisele picked an interesting time to share a link on Twitter encouraging people to attend a climate change rally — and essentially an anti-Trump rally — in Washington, D.C.

Just before the #Patriots visited the White House, Gisele Bündchen tweeted out a link to an anti-Trump climate rally https://t.co/OwQlXE6aXs pic.twitter.com/i9s1c0fOmS

Mrs. Brady later deleted the tweet, but the timing raised plenty of eyebrows. While her husband may have had a good reason for skipping the White House visit, it sure seemed like Trump was offended.

During the Patriots’ trip to the nation’s capital, Trump did not make mention of Brady — you know, the four-time Super Bowl MVP who orchestrated one of the great comebacks in sports history — even one time. He praised Danny Amendola, who was another player that couldn’t make it. Trump also gave shout-outs to lesser-known players like Tre Flowers and Malcolm Mitchell. Did he simply forget about Brady?

Come on.

Although Trump was one of Brady’s biggest supporters during one of the most difficult times in the five-time champion’s career, it would appear the Bradys are distancing themselves from the president.
