The New York Giants may have traded away Odell Beckham Jr, but they think they have some help to make up for it.
The Giants are signing wide receiver Golden Tate, his agent says. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the deal will pay Tate $23 million fully guaranteed, and is for four years and $37.5 million.

Tate was one of the top remaining free agents available, so this is a nice addition for the Giants.
Tate was one of Matt Stafford’s most reliable receivers in Detroit for four and a half seasons. He racked up four straight 90-plus catch seasons and three 1,000-yard seasons. His production dropped off following a trade to the Eagles last season, where he wasn’t as much of a fit in the offense.
The Giants have now let Landon Collins walk and traded Odell Beckham Jr. They’ve replaced them with Tate and Jabril Peppers.
