Jalen Ramsey complains about ‘respect’ issues with Jaguars
Jalen Ramsey cannot say for sure if he has played his last game for the Jacksonville Jaguars, but he made it clear again on Thursday that his relationship with the team is not in a good place.
Ramsey confirmed in an appearance on the “UNINTERRUPTED” podcast that he still wants the Jaguars to trade him, and he said that stems from a mutual lack of respect between him and the team.
More Ramsey from @uninterrupted podcast: “I’m not sure if I’ve played my final game for the Jags yet or not but my trade request still stands. For me respect is a huge thing. … Once respect is lost for both parties I think it is time to part ways.”

The trade demand obviously has something to do with money, as Ramsey flamboyantly campaigned for a new contract during training camp. However, he says that is not the main reason he wants out of Jacksonville.
More Ramsey: “I'm going to continue being a top corner in this league for years to come. The money will come, but money isn't everything. Peace and happiness means a lot more than the money.”

As for the hectic week he has had in which he did not practice for a variety of reasons, Ramsey claims he did not fabricate anything. He informed the Jaguars earlier in the week that he could not practice because he was ill, and he said Thursday that he vomited multiple times and needed IV fluids. Ramsey then missed practice with a back injury that Jags coach Doug Marrone claimed to know nothing about, and he later left the team for the birth of his child.
Ramsey played and played well during Jacksonville’s win over the Tennessee Titans last week, but he is trending toward not playing in Week 4. If the Jaguars finally cave to his demands, he may not play another game for the franchise.
