Jamal Adams reportedly wants to be traded to Cowboys
The New York Jets have seemingly made all of their star players available ahead of Tuesday’s deadline, and safety Jamal Adams would reportedly welcome a deal that ships him out of town.
Numerous reports claim the Jets have at least discussed the possibility of an Adams trade with the Dallas Cowboys, and Adams is apparently hoping the two sides come to an agreement. The Pro Bowler grew up in the Dallas area and wants to play for his hometown team.
Source: Jets have indeed engaged in trade conversations with the Cowboys involving Jamal Adams, as @Rapsheet said.
My understanding is that Adams would welcome the change of scenery back to his hometown.

Of course, compensation could be an issue for the Cowboys. Adams is one of the best safeties in football and is only in the third year of his rookie contract, and Albert Breer of The MMQB reports that the Jets would want at least what the Miami Dolphins got for Minkah Fitzpatrick when they traded him to the Pittsburgh Steelers, which was a package of draft picks that included a first-rounder next year.
The Jets are 1-6 this year, and Adams indicated he was unhappy with the team earlier in the season. It would not be a surprise if he pushes for a trade, but the asking price may simply be too high.
