Jimmy Graham said to be ‘p—ed off’ with Seahawks

Things are starting to unravel in Seattle.

Not only are the Seahawks 0-2 and dealing with a holdout by one of their top defensive players, but now one of their top offensive threats is starting to feel alienated.

Bleacher Report’s Mike Freeman reports that All-Pro tight end Jimmy Graham is p—ed off and hates what’s happening in Seattle. Freeman says he’s been apprised of Graham’s attitude by players in the locker room. Graham reportedly is questioning why the Seahawks traded for him based on the ways they’ve used him.

Signs of frustration from Graham were first intimated by NFL Media’s Mike Silver, who noted that Graham did not want to talk with the media after Seattle’s loss to Green Bay Sunday night. Graham was only targeted twice and had one catch in the defeat.

It’s one thing to maintain a team-first attitude if you do not rack up the stats and your team wins, but if you’re a talented player and feel underutilized while your team is losing, being frustrated is a natural response.

If I’m the Bears I’m making sure I double-team Graham all game in Week 3, because the Seahawks better plan to throw it to Graham at least 10 times in order to start repairing the relationship.
