Stefon Diggs’ reputation has clearly preceded him heading into his first season with the Washington Commanders.
Diggs signed with the Commanders on Wednesday and did not waste any time getting to work. He already joined the team for practice on Friday, reportedly taking several snaps in full-team work. The veteran wide receiver then had a post-practice session with quarterback Jayden Daniels.
The 4-time Pro Bowler left a positive first impression on his teammates, including veteran guard Sam Cosmi. But that didn’t mean Diggs was able to improve his spot on the teammate dateability rankings.
“He’s a heck of a ball player,” Cosmi said of Diggs after Friday’s practice.
“From a perspective of media, I wouldn’t let him date my sister. I don’t know where that [came from].”

Cosmi was referencing the 2017 viral Minnesota Vikings segment in which players named Diggs the teammate they’d least want to date their sister.
Despite Diggs’ claims in the said video that he’s “actually a great guy,” the 32-year-old has not helped his case amid a slew of off-field issues over the years.
Diggs’ name has been dragged into multiple lawsuits that probably wouldn’t be a popular topic at the Thanksgiving table. Commanders players may not be willing to pass Diggs the stuffing or a turkey leg, but the team would probably be more than okay for him to get several targets this season.
