Johnny Manziel could be benched over partying video
Johnny Manziel did not get himself into any legal trouble when he supposedly went on a two-night party bender during the bye week, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be facing discipline from the Cleveland Browns.
On Tuesday, Browns coach Mike Pettine described the video that showed Manziel partying as “disappointing” and would not rule out benching him for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.

#Browns Pettine on Manziel: "when it's a repeated pattern of behavior, it's a concern"

The video shows Manziel holding what appears to be a bottle of champagne at a club in Austin, Texas. You can watch it here.
Pettine also noted that Josh McCown has been cleared to return from a rib injury and will be good to go if they start him over Manziel.
It’s truly a shame that Manziel can’t stay out of his own way, especially after the Browns finally committed to him as their starting quarterback for the remainder of the season. He tried to hint that the video could be old, but there’s no reason to believe that is true.
After Manziel had that incident with his girlfriend last month, the Browns were said to be concerned about his behavior. We can only imagine how frustrated the front office is now.
