Johnny Manziel was in Hawaii over the weekend attending a friend’s wedding, and it sounds like the free agent quarterback did not exactly keep a low profile.
According to a report from TMZ, Manziel got into a fight and punched a guy in the face on Friday — the night before the wedding. Manziel and the other guest were staying at the Four Seasons on the Big Island, and Manziel’s friends insist Johnny was being “hounded” by the other man and was not the instigator. Apparently the two had a history with one another.
More from TMZ:

But things escalated … and at one point during the altercation Manziel struck the other guy in the face.
We’re told the fight was over almost immediately. We spoke with police who tell us they were NOT called to the hotel that night.
But get this … the next day, the other guy in the fight got a surprise from room service — a bottle of champagne and a note that read, “Truly apologize. Should have never done that. Know this won’t make it better, but hope it starts the day off alright.”
It was signed by Johnny Manziel
Manziel seemed pretty bored at times while in Hawaii, which was evident with all the photos he posted on social media. While it’s certainly possible he was not the instigator, this is yet another example of how trouble seems to follow Manziel everywhere he goes these days.
