Lane Johnson ’embarrassed’ by Eagles’ performance
If you are a Philadelphia Eagles fan and were embarrassed by the team’s performance on Sunday, you are not alone. Lane Johnson feels the same way.
The Eagles tackle said after the 20-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys that he felt “embarrassed” that the team only ran for seven yards.
Lane Johnson: "I felt bad for [Murray]. I wanted him to go out and get 200 yards today, to be honest. I'm embarrassed."

DeMarco Murray had just two yards on 13 carries and was outgained by quarterback Sam Bradford. This was supposed to be his big revenge game after the Cowboys let him go over the offseason, and he laid another egg, though he did have a nice play in the receiving game.
“If we can’t run the football, we’re not going to win many football games,” head coach Chip Kelly said afterwards.
Philly has consecutive road games at the Jets and then the Redskins in Weeks 3 and 4, so there will be some opportunities to get victories. They need better showings on offense because, as pretty much everyone agrees, this performance was embarrassing.
