Leonard Fournette had to be helped off the field during the fourth quarter of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ game against the Los Angeles Rams after suffering what appeared to be a leg or knee injury.
Fournette took a handoff and was trying to juke a defender when he planted his leg and made a move. He ended up hobbling afterwards and tried to limp off the field before going down to the ground. He had to be helped off the field and was examined on the sidelines afterwards.

It’s unclear whether the injury was to his leg or foot, but it was enough to send Fournette out of the game. He was replaced by Chris Ivory. The team later said Fournette had a right ankle injury and was questionable to return. He was later cleared to return to the game.

Fournette had 21 carries for 130 yards and a touchdown prior to the injury.
The Jags rookie has scored a touchdown in each of the team’s games and recorded his third career 100-yard game.
