Mason Rudolph was the victim of a dangerous act committed by Myles Garrett at the end of Thursday night’s Cleveland Browns-Pittsburgh Steelers game and has shared his thoughts.
Speaking after his team’s loss, Rudolph said he had not watched a replay of the incident yet. But he did not hesitate to call Garrett’s actions “cowardly” and “pretty bush league.”
“I thought that was pretty cowardly, pretty bush league,” Rudolph said. “There’s plenty of tape out there to watch. I haven’t seen a replay.”
Rudolph was also asked how he was feeling after being smashed in the head with a helmet and said “I’m fine, I’m good to go.”
Rudolph is lucky the helmet smash didn’t do any damage and that he escaped uninjured. That kind of object swung with the force that Garrett used could have resulted in serious injury.
Baker Mayfield called his teammate’s actions “inexcusable.” Many around the league are calling for Garrett to be suspended the rest of the season.
