Mason Rudolph wins Steelers’ backup QB job
The Pittsburgh Steelers have had a shakeup with their quarterback depth chart.
Mason Rudolph has won the Steelers’ backup QB job, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported on Friday.
After a strong preseason, Mason Rudolph won the Steelers' No. 2 quarterback job and will back up Ben Roethlisberger this season barring unforeseen development, per sources.

Rudolph was a third-round pick by the team last year. He passed for 368 yards, four touchdowns and one interception this preseason and will now surpass Joshua Dobbs as Ben Roethlisberger’s backup.
Big Ben has missed regular season games in three of the last four seasons, so there is a good chance Pittsburgh will have to turn to Rudolph at some point during the season.
