The Los Angeles Chargers were widely considered to have some of the best uniforms in football with their powder blue and gold color scheme, and they have now gone and outdone themselves.
If there was going to be a debate over which NFL team unveiled the best new uniforms this offseason, that debate has now ended. The Chargers rolled out their new threads on Tuesday, and they have every right to brag about how “the best got better.”

Almost all uniform releases are met with criticism, because most sports fans don’t like change. However, the Chargers are very much an exception. They stayed true to the color scheme everyone loves while incorporating a couple of minor tweaks, and the response from the NFL community was overwhelmingly positive.

Several other teams have unveiled new uniforms over the past few weeks, and the reactions have ranged from complete mockery to overall indifference. In the case of the Chargers, the hype was more than warranted.
