Report: Nick Foles has bruised ribs, is OK
Nick Foles reportedly is OK despite leaving the Philadelphia Eagles’ win over the Washington Redskins late on Sunday.
For the second straight game, Foles had to exit due to a chest injury. He was hurt after taking a sack and backup Nate Sudfeld came into the game in the fourth quarter. Sudfeld actually threw the first touchdown pass of his career to make it 24-0.
Foles was termed questionable to return due to a chest injury:

Foles did not return to the game. But shortly after the win, ESPN’s Adam Schefter said Foles has bruised ribs and is believed to be OK.

Foles also exited last week’s game after a big hit from Jadeveon Clowney, though he returned after missing one play. Philly has not placed Carson Wentz on injured reserve, but a recent report said he was not expected back even if the team makes the playoffs.
