Nick Foles reportedly ‘fine’ after getting knocked out of Eagles’ game
Nick Foles is said to be fine despite being knocked out of the Philadelphia Eagles’ game against the Houston Texans on Sunday.
With just over a minute to go in a 30-29 game, Foles was crushed by Jadeveon Clowney on a third down play. Not only was there a roughing the passer penalty called, but Foles also completed the pass, putting Philly at the 45.
Foles exited the game for a play and was replaced by Nate Sudfeld. The Eagles starter returned a play later and eventually led the team on a winning field goal drive.
Foles received X-rays after the game and is doing “fine” according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.
#Eagles QB Nick Foles (chest) got checked out after the game and is fine, source said. He essentially got the wind knocked out of him. Obviously came back and… well you know.
