Odell Beckham violated NFL rule by wearing luxury watch on field
Odell Beckham Jr. is in line for a little bit of admonishment for wearing a luxury watch on the field during Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, Beckham violated a rule against wearing hard objects on the field by wearing the expensive watch. No discipline is expected from the NFL aside from a warning from the league, however.
#Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr, who took the field with $350K Richard Mille watch, violated a league rule prohibiting hard objects, I’m told. (There is no rule against jewelry.) The league will address it with him and the team, but that’s likely as far as it goes.

Beckham’s watch was really obvious as the receiver claimed seven catches for 71 yards in his Cleveland debut. One can see why the NFL would deem it dangerously, and that fashion choice is likely to be a one-off unless Beckham wants to expose himself to real disciplinary consequences.
