The Green Bay Packers have a great deal of work to do in terms of restructuring their roster following the Davante Adams trade. That trade has been in the works for so long that the Packers have apparently been lining up deals with free agents contingent on Adams getting moved.
The Packers are set to re-sign free agent cornerback Rasul Douglas, according to Dianna Russini of ESPN. The deal had been on hold for several days while the Packers worked out an Adams trade.
I’m told once the Adams trade becomes official, Green Bay is expected to sign Rasul Douglas, per source https://t.co/O8Bzxjuet6

Douglas was an impact player on the Green Bay defense last season. The 27-year-old reeled in five interceptions and took two of them back for touchdowns.
The Packers will certainly not be done here, as they’ll want to add wide receiver help after dealing Adams. Some of the team’s players are already taking up that effort.
