Patrick Mahomes was furious at refs amid loss to Bills

Patrick Mahomes was absolutely furious as his Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Buffalo Bills 20-17 in their Week 14 game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. on Sunday.

The Bills had kicked a field goal to go up by three with 1:54 left in the game and then gave the ball back to Kansas City. The Chiefs needed to drive for a field goal to tie the game or a touchdown to win it. They quickly moved the ball to midfield and had scored what they thought was a touchdown on 2nd-and-10, but Kadarius Toney was called for being offsides, which nullified the TD.

Kansas City was moved back to a 2nd-and-15, and Mahomes threw three straight incompletions to hand the ball back to the Bills.

After the Chiefs turned the ball over on downs to effectively end the game, Mahomes walked off the field and was heated. He appeared to be yelling at an official.

Mahomes seemed to come unglued after that penalty call. Rather than regroup with his offense after it was called, he was seen getting angry with an official during a timeout prior to fourth down.

The penalty call was the culmination of a frustrating game for Mahomes. The Chiefs QB went 25/43 for 271 yards, 1 touchdown and an interception as his team struggled most of the game and lost.

Kansas City is now 8-5 after losing three of their last four games. They are 4-3 at home this season.
