San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert suffered a gruesome arm injury during the third quarter of Thursday night’s game against the Oakland Raiders.
The Niners leaned heavily on Mostert to help kill the clock as they protected a big lead. They handed the ball to him four times in a row during a drive midway through the third quarter. On the fourth carry, which came on a 3rd-and-1, Mostert rushed for no gain but hurt himself as he landed on his right arm. His forearm appeared to snap.
This video showed the injury, but beware – it contains graphic material.
