Report reveals Raiders’ asking price in Davante Adams trade
Davante Adams wants the Las Vegas Raiders to trade him, and the team has reportedly established an asking price for the star wide receiver.
Adams on Tuesday informed the Raiders that he would like to be traded. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the team is open to moving Adams and has told rival teams it would take a second-round draft pick plus additional compensation to get a deal done.

It is unclear what the “additional compensation” would be, but it is possible the Raiders are seeking a high draft pick plus a starting-caliber player for Adams.
Adams has been the subject of off-and-on trade rumors since last season. Speculation began again when he was shown looking frustrated on the sideline during the Raiders’ Week 3 loss to the Carolina Panthers. Adams sat out of Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns after he suffered a hamstring during practice last week.
When asked about the trade buzz during an interview on Tuesday, Adams seemed to hint at some issues with Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce.
Adams was traded to the Raiders from the Green Bay Packers after the 2021 season. He forced his way to Las Vegas because he wanted to play with Derek Carr, who was his teammate in college at Fresno State. The Raiders moved on from Carr after the 2022 season, and Adams has since indicated that he regrets forcing a trade.
The Raiders will have until the Nov. 4 trade deadline to get a deal done for Adams, otherwise they will not be able to trade him until the offseason. We know of at least one team that might have legitimate interest in the six-time Pro Bowl wideout.
