Rams could trade former All-Pro defender
The Los Angeles Rams could be open to trading a former All-Pro defender before the Nov. 5 deadline.
The Rams are discussing the future of cornerback Tre’Davious White, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. White last played in Week 4 and has since been inactive on gamedays.

Former All-Pro has been inactive, so L.A. is open to keeping him, knowing things can change over long season. But league-wide attrition could lead to a deal. pic.twitter.com/oQw2fCSbvw

The Rams brought White in on a one-year deal during the offseason, but have not made him an integral part of their secondary since early in the season. The former Buffalo Bill was formerly recognized as one of the game’s best corners, but a pair of ACL tears in 2021 and 2023 significantly changed the trajectory of his career.
For now, the Rams seem interested in keeping White as something of an insurance policy. White may want the opportunity to play more, though, which he seemingly will only get elsewhere at this point. They have just over a week to sort out his future.
