Rams won’t be punished for mishandling Keenum concussion
The St. Louis Rams will not be punished for mishandling concussion protocols with Case Keenum.
League sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Sunday that the team will face no discipline for the fiasco which saw an obviously wobbly and concussed Keenum stay in the game against the Ravens.
It seems amazing that nobody will be punished for this, though the NFL’s investigation is ongoing, and some individuals such as the spotter could still see repercussions. Whatever the case, more than one part of the NFL’s concussion protocol failed here. How could an obviously concussed Keenum be left in? We may never know.
