Less than a week ago, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams was on the bad end of one of the most brutal hits you will see in the NFL this season. Despite that, Adams may not have to miss a game.
A source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that Adams has a good chance of playing against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
Surprising as it is, one source said today he believes Packers WR Davante Adams could play Sunday vs Dallas. “I think he goes,” source said.

Adams was treated for a concussion after Chicago Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan leveled him with a helmet-to-helmet hit. Here’s a video of the play:

Adams left the field on a stretcher, but his MRI reportedly came back clean. While Trevathan said the hit was not intentional, the NFL still chose to suspend him two games. One of Adams’ Packers teammates unloaded on Trevathan for what he felt was a dirty play.
The Packers already could be without Ty Montgomery on Sunday, as the running back is dealing with multiple fractured ribs. Having Adams in the lineup would be a big plus.
