Packers CB calls Danny Trevathan hit ‘dirty’ and ‘disgusting’
The late hit by Chicago Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan on Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams during Thursday night’s game had many talking afterwards.
Adams was hit in the head by Trevathan despite being wrapped up by other players on a third quarter play. Adams was carted off and taken to the hospital, where he’s said to be doing well.
McCarthy on Davante Adams: "So far everything looks positive. He’s already giving them a hard time at the hospital to get out of there."

Nonetheless, Packers players were upset about the hit afterwards. Cornerback Davon House saw a clip of the hit and called it “dirty” and “disgusting.”
Davon House called the hit on Davante Adams “dirty” and “disgusting.” House said he hopes his own son doesn’t play offense for that reason.

Guard Jahri Evans said it was a “bad hit.”

Both Evans and Aaron Rodgers did not like that the Bears appeared to be celebrating after hit.

Trevathan was conciliatory after the game, saying he didn’t mean to hurt Adams. He showed genuine remorse. Trevathan could face a fine or suspension for the hit.
