A phony Twitter account popped up on Tuesday and received some attention for its tweets about Robert Griffin III.
The account was named rgriffin88 and has already been deleted, but it had some intensely personal comments about Griffin. The tweets called out Griffin for cheating and getting into a relationship with a new woman while married. The tweets were written in the first person as if sent by RG3’s estranged wife, Rebecca, whom the quarterback is divorcing.
The Cleveland Browns QB sent these tweets Tuesday evening in response and said the account “attacking” his family was “fake.”

Griffin and his wife got married in 2013 and have a daughter together who was born last year. Griffin filed for divorce from Rebecca in September and has been dating his current girlfriend Grete Sadeiko for months. Sadeiko recently made headlines when she talked about being robbed at a Browns game last weekend.
